Hey everyone! If you are a new viewer, Welcome! If you are a returning visitor Welcome back!

We need your help!

First let me say nothing about this will cost anything. 🤯 Unless you would count your time as a cost, then I would say it would be at minimal cost.

When I set this site up, several years ago, it was my intention to provide those interested in all types of assistance animals to have a place to access that they can learn, and share to make the world of assistance animals a less "mystical" subject. Overall the site is going nicely, we get a couple 100 hits a day most looking at the news, articles, or links. This is where I am asking for help. We need MORE!

Articles:
As many know we have a section for articles. These range from articles I found floating on the internet to those I have written myself. If you see one that would be good here, or if you have written your own please share them here. To put them up yourself all you need do is register as a member (free) and post it up. If you do it this way and are sharing something you found online please make sure you give the original author and site credit for it, there are fields for it when you submit. If you would rather not register just send me a note and I will do it for you.

Links:
We have an area that is just links to other sites. I set this up to help people find trainers in their area(s), though We expanded it to include videos to help with training for the owner trainers. Have a favorite trainer in your area? Please take a few minutes to add them to our database, or ask the trainer to do so. It is free advertisement for them and very helpful for those looking for a good trainer.

Forums:
SDA is built on a forum engine (Xenforo) as its foundation. A forum allows for in-depth discussions about subjects that are not found in many social media sites and more importantly much more searchable. With things like FaceBook groups most will agree that they see the same subjects asked about over and over as there is no real way to search for previous threads about the subject in question. True forums are much easier to search in this regard.

So you have questions about the assistance dog world? Ask them on the forums. While you can read everything here as a visitor you will need to register if you want to post. Our original setup allowed anyone to post but unfortunately, we were spammed relentlessly, so were forced to restrict the posting restrictions.
