Our Resources are one of the core portions of our forums. With so much information about assistance dogs spread over the web it can be very hard to find it, or if you have read it before trying to remember where it was at can be a very large task. It is for me, which was one of the reasons I opened up the resource area. I need an easy-to-remember place to store the things I have found helpful when it comes to the world of assistance animals.
The area is easy to navigate and search. I commonly link to resources to the articles and even posts I make. This allows for the reader easy access, not only to see the resource but also to have the ability to download it so they can have it on their machine or even print it off. It also allows me to put in where I found the resource so that the original site gets accolades for creating it.
Anyone visiting the site can check out our resources, and even download them.
Members are allowed to upload their own resources to the site and even encouraged to do so. The only thing I ask is that if a member uploads something it is assistance dog related, and if they have pulled it from another site please give that site its due. There is a field when uploading that asks for that information.
