Our article section was one of our first additions to service dog advocate. I wanted an easily searchable area dedicated not only to some of the articles I had written but also where we could host articles that we had found from other places while presenting where they came from. It is very important that the original site get the recognition they deserve for presenting the original article. This is very hard to do from a simple forum (and I rather not get sued). 
The article area allows for an easy way for users (including myself) to find information instead of knowing the hundreds of websites and being able to find and extract the information they were looking for. The area is open to everyone though in order to post your own article you will have to register, same if you want to leave a review or post a message to the article. Registration is something we have to do due to all the trolls, bots, and the like that leave inappropriate content.
To access the Articles you should see an "Articles" button on the top menu. The page(s) are set up for ease of reading, just click on the one you want to read to open it up. Near the top of the article you should see something like this:
Article: Allows you to read the article, this is the default.
Gallery: Shows you the pictures that were uploaded to the article.
Discussion: This will open up the discussion about the article you are looking at. You will only be allowed to post in the discussion if you are actively logged in as a registered user.
You will only see "Leave a rating" and "watch" if you are logged in as a registered user.
Leave a rating: A star based system. One star = Bad - Five stars = Awesome. If you leave a rating please let us know in the Disscussion why.
Watch: requesting a watch tells the system that if and when the article is modified or someone posts within the discussions that you wish to be notified. You will get a message.
Below the main article, you will also find other articles that you might find interesting.
