This site is focused on assistance dogs as a whole. This is an area I want to be able to have so that current assistant teams, prospective teams, and those that simply want to more about these teams can come to and share their knowledge or learn about service animals.
There are those here from many different ways of life. Different political attitudes, different ways of doing things and that is part of what makes us great. Differences are a plus as it give all of us different ways to view things. The key is to be able to look at things from other peoples' viewpoints and come to our own decision on the best way to move forward.
With that being said here are some things I do not want invading our forums.
- Political Posts: Unless the post or article is specifically about assistant animals
- Bullying: Do not troll people. If you have a differing opinion feel free to share it, but do not go after the person that you disagree with.
- Be Nice: We have enough going against us, please don't add to someone else's problems.
- Selling: We have an area for that (Classifieds). Feel free but remember the site is not responsible for any bad experiences. Buyer beware. We will do our best to watch over but can make no promises.
- Legal advice: We are not lawyers here. Any advice should be based on experience and in no way constitutes true legal advice.
What I would like to see:
- Knowledge sharing. What worked for you while training? Your SD training tips and so forth.
- Questions. The only way to learn is to ask!
- Pictures: Love seeing your working dogs!
- Fun: face it that's why we involve ourselves in places like this. Have a good time!
