We have a lot of things that have been updated.
Xenforo, the forum engine, has recently had an update and this was migrated over to the site. Had a lot of bug fixes and some changes to the SEO. Most of this stuff the users probably will not notice. I am waiting on pins and needles for the 2.3 update as there are rumored to be some very nice changes in the pipe for 2.3.
The theme has been updated to keep inline with the Xenforo update. There were a few things (cosmetic) that didn't really look good but I think I have fixed the underlying code that was causing these and have the Dev of the theme looking into them so other forum owners don't have the same problems.
The addons from Bob (Articles, Blogs, Links, and Reviews) have all had several changes to them.
Removed the trophy addon. Simply did not like the positioning of it and would have simply taken to much time to track down the templates to change it.
Added a reputation bar.
Removed a few unneeded add-ons that have lost their usefulness.
Added a "tag helper" addon that should help me and other users to add tags to the posts.
Looking at changing web hosts. Currently we are hosted from BlueHost and really have had very few problems with them. However, the best PHP version I can access is 7.4 which is a depreciated version and while Xenforo will work with that version they are pushing for 8 or 8.1 and I have a feeling that 8.0 will be their baseline very soon. I have called Bluehost about this and have been told it will get there when it gets there. Not a good answer for me since their site says (from 2022) that they are in the process of updating all their servers to 8... But more about this as it develops. Our service comes up for renewal in October.
