My 2023
Pros
  • The Music!
  • The Games!
  • Atmosphere
Cons
  • Lack of seating (eating)
If you like Scot/Irish music this is an Awesome event! Folk to contemporary music, all day long for two days. Make sure you carry your own chairs, this is a field event. Also, this is Florida, it gets hot, come prepared.

Highland Games. This was kind of lackluster for us. The competition field was very small but was fun watching the people compete. I really wish that this was a more focused event area, just seemed more of an afterthought to us.

Dogs! I am still trying to figure out what their animal policy was within the event. We saw a lot of dogs there, some not vested, some vested with ESA patches, and two or three vested like we were with service dog patches.

At an event like this, especially where vets are allowed free entrance I expect to see a few more service dogs in the area but this was statistically a huge number of "teams". We got snapped and barked at a few times, normally by the little foo-foo dogs, and even had a group that brought their puppies to play while their humans enjoyed the music.
