Welcome to 2023! Well, a new year has arrived. I hope everyone is starting this new year in a wonderful atmosphere and in a great mindset.
The website has grown dramatically in both content and features this year. Personally, I have had a blast working on it. Content is steadily growing, and hits/visits/page views (metrics) are increasing. Would like to see more members, but with such a nitch subject I can't really complain. The Introverted Vet has always been a hobby for me and it has filled that role to match my expectations. I have also noticed that our eastern European and Asian friends have dramatically increased their attempts to infiltrate the site. This tells me that our visibility on search sites is also increasing.

Features we have added this year:
- Blogs: One of my favorite things. I love the ability to have an area where we can focus on ourselves (and our dogs).
- Articles: I found that it would help me if I had an area to put articles, as they really are not real forum-focused items, but I wanted to also have them easy to find and allow people to comment on.
- Links: One of the things I have always noted is how hard it is to find trainers and such within the service dog communities. The links should help provide viewers find local trainers, groups, and such that are close to them. I am still hoping that this area gets more people to add to the links. It is very hard for me to do all of them...
- Classified: This area is for the use of members to sell, trade, and swap equipment and the like.
- Resources: This is a download area that I found useful to put things like handouts and such for people to download. For me this is an organizational thing for me, to be able to put specific files in so users can find them easier.
- Reviews: Our newest area allows members to add their own reviews (assistance dog related) of places that they have visited or leave comments about places others have reviewed.
